The ICET Conference is a flagship conference of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Islamabad Section, Pakistan. IEEE is the world’s largest professional association whose scope of interest lies in promotion of education and research within engineering sciences and computing technologies. The mode of contribution to these areas is through research journals, conferences, member networks, and development of industry standards. Through the platform of IEEE-ICET, eminent researchers from academia and experts from industry (both from Pakistan and overseas) share their expertise, novel ideas, and research activities of pioneering proportions.
The conference was organized for the first time in 2005 and it has been conducted every year for the more than one and a half decade (except in Covid time during 2020). GIKI has the honor of hosting this prestigious conference for the second time, and after competitive bidding has managed to bring the conference to Topi, Swabi. The proceedings of previous International Conferences on Emerging Technology are available on IEEE Xplore.
